      In the last two days I have been getting an email from Instagram saying someone requested a „Password reset“ at 3AM…

      its nothing in the grand scheme of things. Last I read IG has close to **3 billion accounts**, and this figure represents under 1%. Meta will probably issue some boilerpoint template and have the summer interns take a look.

      Now if 300m accounts have their data made available, heads will roll…

      I barley use ig but I got a notification for a reset password this morning. Immediately deleted my account.

      Your data is sold/stolen every day. Only way to protect yourself is to abstain from using the apps and even then some risk is always unavoidable

      Go make sure your IG account isn’t reusing passwords

      Close your accounts and don’t look back.
