There were like 18 Ukrainians and 2 Russians and I’ve read that Russians are already free. It is not unusual for people from the post-Soviet region to work together, they share a language and usually get along well on personal level.

Now, among those 18 Ukrainians some can be people from the former separatist republics, which can say that they are Russian or Ukrainian depending on the situation, but in this case I honestly don’t see a reason for them to say they are Ukrainian. They don’t want to go to Ukraine after that in case there will be any charges and, again, Russians are already free.

    2. The last place I would look for Ukrainian draft dodgers is a Russian black fleet oil tanker.

It’s true there are plenty, and maybe they were out at sea working when all this started, or even in 2014. If you’re a world away, making decent money, and want to go on living quietly on your little water world, it’s understandable. Still though, like Lucy, “You’ve got some explaining to do….”
