The lies aren’t to convince people – everyone knows what really happened.
The lies are so the ones who support fascism can continue to pretend they have an interest in maintaining social norms because they are not ready to upend society completely and launch the new order yet. That’s all.

The administration is lying about the shooting. They are lying about the medical treatment of Renee Good. They are not accountable and refuse to allow the prosecution of the ICE agents. Now they are going into schools to terrorize the community.

ICE handled this horribly. For one, the ICE officer put himself in front of the car. He could have easily moved out of the way once the car started to move forward as her wheels were turned away from him. They gave her conflicting commands. One officer said to drive off, another said to get out of the car and aggressively pulled on the door to try to get her out. This caused her to panic. If they kept a level head and gave her clear commands on what to do she would probably still be alive. This is on ICE full stop.
Even if she _did_ run over his foot, that’s not a death penalty offence.

It’s plain to see that a lot of these ICE agents aren’t temperamentally or morally fit to be unleashed on the public with lethal weapons.
