Funny that a lot of these looks would get you nasty looks and commentaries on today’s streets, when they were a sign of wealth and position back in the day. High heeled shoes on men, flowery jacket, skirt, leggings, and a big poofy hat. People would call you gay. There’s even medieval church frescoes around Georgia of local nobility wearing earrings, apparently it was totally normal back in the day and somehow now it’s something that people will react against with aggressive stereotypes.
