    1. Boxing yes but not necessarily Conor vs Floyd there was no reason to rig it it went exactly the way many expected

Conor has a weak gas tank and was his most dangerous early Floyd kept himself safe let Conor have some moments and then his momentum built while Conor’s tank was emptying rapidly

NBA and college basketball it’s relatively easy to manipulate final scores… now that NBA players are extremely wealthy it makes it less likely but not impossible..

The NFL I really doubt it there’s like 60 some individual players touching the field in any game.. also the sport does incredible ratings regardless of who is playing

I’ve seen slow motion instant replays of more than a few Mike Tyson fights in which it’s very apparent the other fighters are throwing the match.

Hell yeah they are, but sometimes teams pull it off in spite of it all too

the nba ref that got caught betting on his own games had over a 90% winrate. if just one rogue ref can pull that off imagine how easily the nba could rig things if they had everyone working together.

No but the Vikings kicking a FG with one second left to lose by 13 and not 16 when the spread was 13.5 is very sus. No reason to kick that ball.

All of them are rigged. Look at the 2022 football world cup. They don’t even try to hide it anymore

Do you think the whole „every team hates Caitlin Clark“ is crafted drama to increase engagement with Clark supporters and draw more attention to WNBA? They tell the refs to overlook blatant fouls to rage bait fans and get social media mentions?

I do think some of the athletes might be a genetic experiment. I’m not sure which ones. I’m just saying if I were creating Super Soldiers thru genetic experimentation, I would definitely experiment with athletes first.

I think rigged is wrong word. I think manipulated is better. A finger thrown on the scale at opportune moments. Definitely not scripted or pre-determined but if some points can be shaved to favor gambling sponsors or to promote a storyline then itll happen

So, ironically, the sports rigging is one of the conspiracies I struggle with the most. In the top right picture (the Malcolm Butler/Patriots INT at the goal line), I don’t know how you could possibly ever script that to happen. The degree of difficulty is astronomical, it’s a miracle that it happened the way it did.

Although, I suppose you could say that Wilson not just handing it off to one of the most physically imposing HB’s of all time Is a good counter argument, and I think that’s true.

I can get behind people saying that refs can control the outcome. That is plausible to me. But if we’re talking about scripting the outcomes of plays, then that’s harder to imagine and accept.

    11. My proof for you. New years day.

3 major teams all drew. Massive upset. Bookies needed to balance the books and I think that truly. 3 MAJOR BIG TEAMS in the premiership just all getting draws. Do you know the fucking odds on that? It was huge. But no1 had it.

Absolutely there are some games rigged.

    12. I don’t think the fight referenced was rigged. McGregor has said numerous times that the shit talk is all for the cameras. The outcome is what everyone knew would happen, ffloyd made the call well before the fight actually happened. If it was rigged, I don’t think it was conspiratorially rigged.

The Ali vs Liston fight you presented a picture of I’m almost certain was rigged.

I think it would be ignorant to say in the long history of some sports there has never been a rigged match but I think the level which most people think it’s rigged is probably overblown

    14. como ex apostador, me ha tocado ver muchos eventos que no veo forma que no sea amañado o simplemente sacar mas dinero del que esta involucrado al igual que al final del dia es entretenimiento y claro que existe algo detras pero hasta ahi

    15. My main takeaway from this post was daydreaming about what a wonderful world it would be if this was the most scandalous conspiracy that we had to worry about

      Oh hell yes.

      1. NASCAR always has been and the only way that they can continue is to further reduce competition. Hence the Charter Holders. It gives NASCAR a way to lock out collective bargaining- they banned the Flock brothers, they blocked Curtis Turner for trying to organize and they

      2. I know NCAA sports are. The transfer portal gave the sports free agency and major sports have a degree of transparent money so the NCAA

I think it depends on the sport, meaning sports like boxing and basketball can be easier to rig than football or soccer. The more people involved, I imagine it would be harder to hide and control. So I don’t think all sports are rigged but I do 100% believe all professional sports have some level of bias and influence in favoring some teams or players over others.

    18. I don’t think any of the major leagues are rigged, per se (and this coming from a Saints fan who had to deal with the 2018 No Call). That said….they can be influenced.

The most obvious to me is basketball. The league can look at matchups in the playoffs and, depending on who’s playing, schedule referees who call every touch foul; or, the exact opposite, and „let them play“ to favor the more physical team.

Aside from that, I think a lot of what we think is cheating is really just referee incompetence.

Most obvious fixed fight for me was Cristy Martin vs paine. Paine look like she never fought a day in her life.

    20. Why has nfl films never done a series on referees, perhaps stories from high profile games. Why are the refs so protected from the media?

Because the refs are the ones being to rig it and now everything is subjective, i can say a pass is an incomplete pass. The refs and new york are the ones riggin it

    21. WiseCityStepper on

the refs 100% do things to sway it in favor of the other team all the time, the owners don’t do anything cause they’re all dumping millions on bets for the team it’s rigged for and getting 5x back

    22. ClassroomNice1165 on

Refs have been given the ability to call a foul/flag on pretty much anything in most sports now.
I don’t think players are involved as much as the referee’s are nowadays.

    23. Oh_Lawd_He_commin420 on

Yes. All „Pro“ sports are heavily influenced, if not straight up rigged. This started when the Mafia helped form MLB and expanded from there. Sports betting has been black market bread and butter since before drugs.

    24. People will cheat over $10… you believe sports which has millions if not billions on the line doesn’t have any games that have been fixed? Lol

    25. NationalSalad_ on

Remember all the hubub about FIFA rigging games and then nothing came of it, no how’s or whys just silence?

      Ya its all rigged
