    1. At a minimum, please, use a reputable password manager that’s locked by a UNIQUE pass-phrase.

Yes, that’s *pass-phrase* – a literal sentence that ensures a) easier memorization, b) adequate length and c) better complexity. And for every website you use, create a randomized, UNIQUE, and long password that includes special characters.

Even if you’re starting from a place where all your passwords are identical across a hundred websites and apps, this is an exercise that will only take an hour or so to complete, and will *dramatically* improve your data security.

If ever there was a time to be a stubborn prick about security and online safety, **now is that time**. Be safe and smart, everyone.

ALSO if you have home internet? Get rid of it. Until you are smart enough to ensure your privacy and safety. 2024 we were getting multiple ddos attacks a week at HOME.
My work is now getting them and I can’t begin to explain the fucking internet to 60 year olds. I don’t use their internet and they get flooded to the point they can’t print a fucking paper from their wifi printer.
Also routers are now house mapping.
      They call it a ‚feature‘.
The people with full smart homes have the most to fear now given the government of *rules for thee but not for me*
We have a home copper landline phone and faraday bags for when we leave work.
The bonus is only 5 people have the landline number and we don’t fuck around on our phones at home.
