Alberta, you will be sending ALL your oil to the USA for pennies on the dollar and say THANK-YOU.

Nope. It’s a warning that the country is full rogue and the world needs to be placing sanctions on a country that abducts a leader from another country and then declares its looking to „acquire“ more countries.

      When Russia does it… BAD.
if China wants to do it…. Very BAD
but if US is doing it…. It’s not freedom, it’s capitalism reaching its final form.

It should be a wakeup call that anything, literally ANYTHING is possible with that orange freak.

It’s not funny. It’s not a joke. It is a very serious thing, and it is your civic duty to be angry and cautious.

    4. Carney is definitely not the answer, he needs to save face. At least his tune has changed that now he admits we have to work with the US.

We have to make sure orange man is somewhat happy, as much as I hate to say it.

No amount of diversifying trade will produce better results than working with the US.

The state of California has a population that is close to the entirely of Canada to put this in perspective. Anyone who really thought we had the upper hand in some areas was badly fooled in the election.

    5. Oh no the sky is falling. Again.

It’ll fall again in an hour when the next USA headline makes the top of the sub.

    6. TACO – Trump Always Chickens Out. He chickens out on China’s tariffs, on Putin’s ultimatum, and on many other issues when he feels real counter-power or when he realizes he might not be supported by his voters. So let’s stay strong, and he will chicken out.

When the insurgency gets going in Venezuela and other countries the they will get bogged down and forget where Canada is as the plane loads of body bags keep coming home to middle America. Instead of 51st state talk perhaps enough Blue States will have enough and want to create their own country with cordial relations with Canada. Maybe reorganizing North America into nations on ideological lines might be better for everyone.

The American oligarchs will rape Canada, the ongoing theft of Venezuelan oil with the tanker seizures sets the stage.

The rule of law is broken, welcome to the strong takes from the weak.

Il worry more when americans can handle the cold and snow. Their south crumbles at 5cm of snow, while their southern states make up the vast amount of their military strength .

Im not worried about most ppl in the northern states who have spent their entire lives around Canadians and know we’re not a drug threat and we already sell them oil and minerals at such a reduced cost.

If they ever try to invade they can enjoy generations of guerilla warfare tactics from people who look just like them, sound just like them and can blend in rather easily in their country as we already do now.

They couldn’t stop guerilla warfare tactics in the middle east, think itll be any easier when we all look the same pfft

If the USA took over Canada, we’d roll over, but the guerrilla war would last decades.

    11. Lol no it isn’t. The US has removed dictators from foreign countries in the past and it wasn’t a warning for us then, and it isn’t now. Get a grip.

LPC is preparing Canada for this by (checks notes) disarming law abiding citizens and ending all shooting sports….got it.

    13. We are/always have been a resource vassal state , first for the English and now for the Americans, nothing really changes just the empire behind the curtain.

    14. Deadly-Unicorn on

Lol they don’t need to remove our leaders. Trump already gaslit Canadians into voting for Carney because “they didn’t want a Canadian Trump”. That’s not even the real issue. We don’t have any real choices. Nobody is willing to address actual issues. To be clear this is not the fault of our leaders. It’s our own fault. Canadians are actively voting for what they are getting.

Carney will be the first to surrender to USA, all his damn investments are there. 91% investments in USA and only 3% in Canada.
