The election was as legit, as Russia’s referendum in Donbas . Fraudmaxxing

Based on what I’ve read recently, this information is based off a plot by right wingers/corporations/US who in the last election didn’t come out to vote to make it look illegitimate. All the western world knows about Venezuela is from opposition and propaganda

Petro in Colombia took a very ambiguous attitude towards Maduro recognition.

regarding his reelection, a lot of discussion and expressed concern was raised, with some governments explicitly calling the vote illegitimate. However, I often see claims that many more governments did not recognize the vote as legitimate. these are subtly but importantly different. Is it normal for every government to recognize every election of all the other governments, or is it more likely that media focused on a lack of explicit recognition to drum up support for criticism of the election?
tldr; no, it is not normal for governments to explicitly “recognize” every foreign election. Silence is the default.
— just fyi, to me Maduro is a fraud and a scam, and if it wasn’t for the blatantly illegal way the US seized him I would be quite happy with the outcome. It certainly beats bombing fishermen in spite. But I think there is an „in-clique“ behavior that is being enforced in coverage of topics like this, so I had to point it out.

The message in this map is that western allies decide who your leaders are, and if you vote for anyone else they’ll arrest and imprison them… There is no international law which agrees with the US, there is no truth in what they say, Venezuela has oil, and so does Greenland.

About Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and india, they have no idea that you have to recognize a president. How do you do that?

Wasn’t this posted like so many times? Is this how they manufacture consent or whatever?

Again, its not up to anyone if he won or not except Venezuela. The idea that foreign nations can just „not recognize“ your own elections sounds absurd

Is it really that hard to make a Map wide enough to include New Zealand? Not like it’s that far off from Australia anyways.
Feels really silly for it to appear framed there like some sort of post league Pokémon region
