If a bully like Donald couldn’t take on China and has been chickening on his tariff threats to China, what made Japan think it can decouple from China?
As a Canadian I’ve long thought a stronger alliance with Japan makes a lot of sense. We’ve got oil, energy, minerals, and food galore. We could use some technical expertise in transport, manufacturing, and healthcare among other things.
