investment in EMP technology & deployment in the arctic + speed up & build production facilities for arctic-ready drone sub swarms. Conventional stuff isn’t going to cut it when we’ve seen modern warfare and how it works right now & in the future. Especially when we’re heavily outgunned.
I’d also love to see us build a few NEMPs „to deter Russia,“ or whatever.
Someone once wrote in The Globe and Mail, that Canada was like the lazy teenager that slept in until 2 PM and did the minimum to get by.
I certainly hope that our politicians and the next generation of politicians understand that we cannot take any relationship for granted and we need to watch over our own affairs.
