Who is running Socotra then?
„For good“
Source? Time travel?
That’s a good thing?
I mean the STC weren’t saints. But unlike the UAE’s other lackeys like the RSF or LNA, they weren’t blood hungry despots, and in most areas ran a far more competent administration as compared to the Internationally recognised administration (PLC) or the Houthis
Hmm that’s unfortunate. Splitting the country along the old border is the only way forwards to longterm stability and the official government is against that obviously.
This should really just say „Saudi puppet govt“ instead of „Yemeni govt“
Are you sure they took Aden? Its still complicated there
A move to protect shipping route obviously. We know who is likely behind this. Probably getting ready to start moving that Venezuela oil so all the bases need to be covered
How do you conquer over half of a country and then lose everything including what you had before within just a few days?
The UAE really overreached
Isnt this ‚good‘ news ?
Hell on earth
Hopefully now the RSF gets defeated in Sudan.
Can someone ELI5 please ? I have a rough idea who the Houthis are and who support them, but what/who is STC ?
Damn already?
Good riddance
This map is not accurate. As of now, Yemeni forcds do not control all STC-held territories
What does this mean? Does the government in Aden suddenly have troops controlling the rest of Yemen ?
Now just bomb the crap out of the Houthis
How’d they lose so quickly?
Wait let me get this straight…. the STC launch a blitz capture half the country , declare independence and somehow….get reverse blitzed into oblivion?
Ok can anybody explain me what is happened , happening in yemen.
i dont know a lot about yemeni politics is this good or bad
Can’t we all just get along? I would love to see Sanaa one day.
