We need to bring BYD production into Canada to 1. Improve EV adoption, 2. Light a fire under NA auto manufacturers asses, 3. Get China to drop all their counter tariffs on our industries.

We need to focus on strengthening our relationship with the U.S. Let the downvotes from the elbows up crowd come.

    3. Smart man. The tmx pipeline, you know the one that cost us $34B and never once got a mention during the elections, or since?

Well it goes to the west coast. And it was a patent failure. Like the oil sands have been for decades. Because it shift bitumen, among others.

And then china came in and starting buying oil.

This turned the fail story into what could be success.

So yeah, smart to get over there and stoke up some demand.

Maybe for the first time in 52 years, the dead horse of the oil sands will turn a profit?

I would side with more pipelines, if it means we sell at a profit.

Canada is so desperate that it’s making a deal with China? Getting in bed with China never works the way the host countries believe it will. Let’s piss off the Americans even more by getting in bed with their main enemy. Trump kidnapped a countries president because they were too close to China and now you want to invite them in while Trump is talking annexation? Wow. Canada is cooked.

    5. „Burr burr we shouldn’t cozy up to China“. Brother, we are just looking for new customers. People talking about „Oooh China spies on us“ Motherfucker the US spies on us. Everyone spies on everyone. Samsung is filled with Israeli spyware for some ungodly reason.
