Good
Good news. Need these in all the cities now too. Safe place for drug use and help too.
This is a positive thing. I always read comments saying these are terrible ideas and do not help the situation by giving these higher crime rate stats etc.
These centres prevent deaths and do help in the long run.
It’s a great place that does wonderful work and we should have more like it. I don’t know if there’s any way to make them less intimidating to walk past though? The people who need the help tend to accumulate outside generally minding their own business but not great for people trying to pass on the street
Should have these in the most impacted communities too.
Deadly buzz
Brilliant, we need more safe use/ free testing facilities. Our country is so unnecessarily cruel to addicts. Addiction a disease that needs to be treated, not punished.
Great. And having help onsite is the key. The addicts are our sons and daughters and we have to look after them. Even if they don’t beat their addiction, we owe them a bit of dignity.
Not trying to be controversial here, genuinely curious. They are also handing out crack pipes ( I know this from an interview with a service user I heard recently on a podcast ). I understand the logic of supplying clean needles but crackpipes?
Good news. Some sensible drug policy at last. Let’s have further drug reform.
