Nice words but this statement will stop tRUMP from his imperialist objectives of taking all of North, Central, and South America

    2. A strongly worded letter. How quaint. I’m afraid consent and respecting boundaries are not exactly Trump’s strong points.

Worth noting that Lesser Göebbels himself invoked „Might Makes Right“ on live TV and declared that the US has a right to take what it wants and seeing what just happened in Venezuela…

    3. Trump has wanted to leave NATO forever. I see no reason why he’d stay then just do what he wants, like the Russian puppet he is.

The Europeans are so used to be on the side making batshit stuff alongside the U.S. they really don’t know how to react when the U.S. targets them instead.

    5. How this will end: EU will pledge greater resources to military defense in arctic, probably allow more US military bases on greenland and probably some critical mineral deals for US companies. Trump claims a win and this all turns into a nothing burger

    6. That’ll show him. JFC it’s like trying to be reasonable with a 6 foot bully 5th grader that got the keys to his dad’s gun cabinet. It’s not going to end well with being nice .

Trump promised his opposition would cause ww3. Hes threatening his own allies.

If I were Danish, I would assume the loss from now. Europe won’t respond militarily at all. That would be cataclysmic. They would literally be surrounded by enemies.

    9. we can’t really do much.

if US annexes Greenland, it’s gone. period.

we can stop NATO (and probably will) and this will open the doors for Putin, Trumps new business buddy to enrich themselves together.

Europes influence on the American continent is in the crosshair and he will pull the trigger.

      it will happen.

Can any Americans explain why Donald Trump’s domestic approval has not been cut in half? Is it because his domestic policies are actually effective, or is he simply the embodiment of stupidity and greed?

Hell yeah guys, I really think this may have secured peace in our time 🤞

If Trump and his cronies continue to threaten to ‘take’ Greenland, could Denmark respond by asking US troops stationed in Greenland to leave — and could other NATO members take similar steps? Removing an existing military presence would make any invasion more difficult, and could signal to Washington that allies expect mutual respect.

    13. UN has a Trump issue. America has a Trump issue. The World needs to address this Dementia Don problem.

      How toothless

The U.S. is trying to seize and enslave EU territory or in the best case buy and sell EU citizens like chattel

      Have some backbone

    15. Ahh back to Monroe doctrine and deglobalization… Going to be real fun soon.

Cheetoh in Chief is gonna see this as a win win. Take Greenland, get out of NATO.

      Pootin just all smiles.

Trump will take over Greenland by force and it will be the reason NATO will be history. „Congratulations leaderships of the western world, you played yourself“ – Russia and other dictatorship regimes around the world.

I believe it his (tRumps) intention to obtain possession of Greenland by whatever method will be the most likely to succeed.
I stand with the leaders of the free world in their opposition to this action.

    19. OnionSquared on

That was an awful lot of words to say very little.

They need to stop considering the US an ally.

Only thing European leaders do is just release statements “ We condemn this we condemn that” lmao , they never take any real actions

    21. I don’t know what Americans should do about their head of state acting illegally, and often. Putting your life in imminent danger because you believe in democracy is heroic. But, perhaps it’s most effective when a vast majority does it.

However, some other countries on Russia’s border have been protesting about corruption every day for months, even a year and no Western Superman has come to save them.

I understand why: changing a country’s beauracracy from court all the way through to just aggressively nasty is the work of decades. If US senators couldn’t interfere with the DMV and traffic cops, I’m sure the roW would feel more confident about US justice.

the title is misleading, 7 out of the 27 EU members signed.
      Others were scared shitless

I’d like to single out the Netherlands, for being the biggest weasels of the bunch..Riding the moral high horse when its convenient, yet cower away when it matters most

Ah so sovereignty should be upheld for european countries but not Venezuela… got it 👌🏻

I don’t think the US gives a single flying fuck, so at least they’re consistent.

    24. I think Canada should buy Greenland. How hilarious would that be? Hear me out, it’s closer to Canada, would probs make Canada the biggest country and for sure mess with Trump enough to potentially cause an aneurysm🤷‍♂️
