    3. The concept of roads carved directly into cliffs reveals such impressive engineering. It seems to create access to views that would otherwise remain hidden. A remarkable way to experience a landscape.

      Machu Picchu has trails like this. It’s terrifying. I walked the wider part just to view the sections that narrowed down.
