Straya is 000, but they had to put a forward on 911, because people are dumb and prevalence of yank media

Brazil has the absolute worst emergency system out there. It’s the only country I’ve been without an unified emergency dispatch number. You need a catalogue to remember numbers for police, firefighter, ambulance, etc. At least they are simple numbers, but it could be better.

South Korea is incorrect, I think. When I lived there, it was 119.
Edit: Hmm, apparently 119 is only for fire and rescue. It is 112 for police, which I’ve never needed to know (since it is a super safe country).

China is 119 now. 110 and 120 are used technically but they’ve unified it. I was taught in school at least to always call 119.

In Russia we have:
911 and 112 for universal emergency
100, 101, 102, 103 and so on for dedicated emergency service (like medical service, police, firefighers, etc)

In my country both 112 and 911 work(Bulgaria)

112 is also officially used in Australia, but only for mobile phones. 000 works from all phones.
Some other numbers such as 999 and 911 may also direct you to emergency services here, but using them is strongly discouraged.
People with speech or hearing impairments can also dial 106 from a textphone.

Many places will redirect your call if you dial the number not default for that country like 112 in 911 area and vice versa

Does the UK officially have two numbers or is it just displaying redirection? Some carriers in the United States will redirect 112 to 911 if 112 is dialed.
