      UK should just keep it head down and concentrate on Europe. Working with EU to try to keep peace in Europe.

      The rest of the world is no longer Europe’s concern.

      Europe is at best a regional power, it can’t compete with USA / China. Its struggling like crazy vs Russia.

      It seems a little odd to offer that up without a direct question on it. I also think the lack of acknowledgement from the UK is there to signal understanding of America’s push back to Monroe Doctrine, especially while we are operating Southern Sovereignty.

Reports of these strikes began emerging around 11:00 p.m. PST on January 2, 2026.

      There’s been no U.S. attack, no UN approval, and no congressional consent. Some are claiming he had “48 hours to do whatever he wants,” but that’s false – the War Powers Resolution only requires him to notify Congress, it does not give him the authority to start hostilities. Acting without congressional approval is very likely unconstitutional, and this strike is a unilateral initiation of hostilities that could have massive consequences.

      Trump launched this illegal “Big Beautiful War” on Venezuela after openly signaling intent to take control of the country’s oil.

      You don’t just bomb a country and kidnap its leaders and expect nothing to happen. By both U.S. law and international law, this is extremely serious, likely illegal, and a massive overreach of presidential power.

      Really ? When did the UK stop being actively involved in the Five Eyes intelligence co operation group. They would have been well briefed.
      And having complete knowledge pf the operation, so your people dont get caught up in it. Certainly would be a level of involvement.

      The British government and MI departments are involved in tracking and interfering in as much as they can to sustain its monetary interest in the world as a banking centre… so they may not of “been involved” but you can be pretty certain that they definitely knew about it!
