      Why ist this sub 4 out of 5 times about india, Nottingham against them, but the World has more.

      Go for it. But once you have all that machinery digging and tunnelling, better keep expanding to 3 or 4x more kilometres. With 1.5 billion people, the more the better

      Instead of directly linking two biggest and strategically important cities, Delhi and Mumbai, they’re linked through Ahmedabad.

      Why?

      Because this is the home state of current prime minister, Modi.

      Same reason Ahmedabad is going to host CWG 2030, a city with almost nil sporting culture and achievement.

      I don’t think they’ll break ground on any of the new lines until Mumbai ahemdabad line is inaugurated.

      wild nothing between mumbai and bengaluru, probably the two cities with highest salaries in india easily.

      Missed Kanpur, a major central station. Sad to see how this once-great city has decayed. Being close to Lucknow has ruined it instead of boosting growth or bringing in new industries.

      Surprising that there’s no real north-south trunk route, like Delhi-Nagpur-Hyderbad-Bangalore and then to Kerrala.
