The sheer embarrassment of US success in this operation could truly damage Putin at home. This is what Putin expected. It is the worst humiliation possible. Putin’s regime is built on alleged toughness and competence and this is undeniable proof he is neither.

    2. No. For one, it’s 1.5 times the size of Ukraine and second, it’s mainly dense jungle and mountains.

The problem is that Trump doesn’t have much of a plan beyond ‚Take oil‘. There’s no „How do you run the country“ plan in there, because it’s a country full of people, not just a lump resource, but Trump won’t see the difference.

So without a plan, Venuzuela is going to drop into chaos that could make Maduro look PREFERABLE.

To be honest, this could be the false flag attack Russia was planning, just not in Russia. Just to a Russian ally. Which allows him to attack the USA – or allies of the USA. Terrible excuse. But an excuse nonetheless.

We will be expected to help and support, as if we aren’t occupied enough with dictators right now, so when we say no, Trump will break up NATO.

    4. Whether or not you support the action, that’s what 1 hr 22 min look like.

      Utter propaganda BS

Trump’s wet dream for Venezuela is to

      (A) *Maskirovka* – to manufacture a crisis to boost his domestic support and distract from his sleazy and criminal sex life,

      (B) Enrich his billionaire oil baron buddies

      (C) Play the „wartime president“ card to boost GOP support in the mid terms

It isn’t Ukraine, but this is exactly what Putin tried to do. Fly in troops and arrest Zelensky. And he failed at it.

      >Trump’s capture of Maduro was not motivated by a quest for territory nor a desire to erase a nation; rather, as with President Ronald Reagan’s 1983 invasion of Grenada and George H.W. Bush’s 1989 invasion and arrest of Manuel Noriega in Panama, the U.S. goal is to prevent and reverse a backslide away from liberty and consolidation of one-party rule.

All while implementing their own one-party rule. And while it might be true that Trump is not after territory. But he is very much after the oil under that territory.

    8. The Venezuela population will have a issue woth their key cities and infrastructure being almost all coast line. The Americans arent going to enter the Jungle they will own the coastal cities with their navy its a way different situation.

And this is how a special military operation is done. 100% success with zero American casualties.

    10. Putin’s goal was not to kill Zelensky, as the author claims. It was an actual ground occupation of Ukraine and its subjugation to the Russian rule.

Not a good analogy at all.
