Im Brazilian. People might say USA is the villain here. Ofc they have their own interests, but living in Brazil since I was born, the past 10 years, we saw lots of people immigrating from Venezuela (shithole) because of Maduro politics. He is a literal dictator, you can ask any Venezuelan, he will tell you that. When I read an asshole saying “I support Venezuela” you’re just a dumbass motherfucker. Look up what “El Helicoide” is. It’s pretty much our version of the Syrian Sednaya. Look up what they do to political dissidents. There are literally hundreds of people right now having their b*lls shocked with electrodes as we speak and this has been pretty much state policy for the past 15 years.
For you guys is all about being edgy and cool, sticking it to the man and what not. For us this is the only chance we have at having a glimpse of freedom.
Even if the US might not have the best intentions, the evils this brutal dictatorship has brought upon our miserable people is far worse.
