i know they are up to no good those soldiers but there is a possiblity that they have no choice, its russia after all.
That why it feels wrong to see this. they are humans too

Imagine traveling back in time and talking to a WW1 soldier and he’s like „So, how’s warfare in the 21st century? Do they pummel a position for months with artillery now instead of days? What’s the deal with the gas?“
And you’re like „Well, nothing like that, but, the artillery shells chase you“

„The artillery shells, they chase you.“

„What do you mean they chase you.“

„Well, the bombs are strapped to small flying contraptions that the operator can control from miles away, in safety, using radio waves. They have tiny cameras that produce moving pictures in real time, so that the operator can see where he is flying, and he can also count the teeth (or lack of) that his target has if he so wishes, the picture is that clear.
Oh, and sometimes the operators toy with the targets, doing several fake bombing runs making the target slip and fall on his ass before he flies the bomb into them. And then these moving pictures are collected and made into collages of other strikes set to whimsical and comical music that the general public sitting at home in safety can watch, so as to add extra insult to injury. Imagine your death being broadcast to hundreds of thousands of people that cheer once the bomb connects.“

I’m sure this has been asked before, but why don’t the ground troops carry sawed off shotguns to shoot drones with?

If I were the Ukrainians, I would randomly equip drones with exploding packets of propaganda flyers explaining how these men are being sent to die for Putin, etc.
