    1. Some countries may report more despite the phenomenon not being so widespread. while in some countries although the violence is quite common the reporting is low.

      I bet violence against males is worse! But all violence is wrong and I’m sure it is largely done by males in most cases.

      Turkey is very interesting. I would have thought violence would be less reported than in most countries due to poor information, social stigma and negligent handling by the authorities.

      EDIT : ok those are study reports and not police reports

      Violence against men is even higher.

      It’s just nobody cares.

      The amount of dudes I have seen in public getting „playfully“ hit by their female partners is way, way, way higher than the other way around.

      Mostly because it’s socially acceptable if a woman hits a man.

      Honestly the Istanbul convention is a joke.
      Hey let’s name a convention that should protect women from femicides in the country with the highest rate of violence against women 

    8. Some of the countries certain things don’t even count, women are ignored / treated very badly for reporting it. 

      The next thing to do is break it down even further, you need even more data, the only thing better than data is even more data 🙂
