Some countries may report more despite the phenomenon not being so widespread. while in some countries although the violence is quite common the reporting is low.
Spreading seems wrong. Where do the stats come from?

Turkey is very interesting. I would have thought violence would be less reported than in most countries due to poor information, social stigma and negligent handling by the authorities.

Some of the countries certain things don’t even count, women are ignored / treated very badly for reporting it.
