Hopefully the next Democratic President does the same with Trump’s Executive Orders.
Mamdani came out swinging with executive orders on rent freezes, EV charging expansion, sick leave, and climate resilience, basically turning day one= policy push day. NYC politics just went from slow city hall to fast forward.
If anyone was expecting a „settle in and listen“ mayor, Mamdani said lol nope. Renter protections, transit access, progressive priorities before the haters even finish their coffee. This is the opposite of a lame duck intro.
