Thor: Love and Thunder was absolute trash. It’s good to see that Marvel is returning Thor to the fucking badass he is.

I seen a hilarious meme earlier with this photo. it read:

#“Father, please.. Undo all that Taika Waititi did to me. Let me return not as a joke but as a warrior.”

I do wonder how during filming L&T and they got to the scene of Thor trying to talk to Stormbreak about being jealous of Mjolnir did nothing pop into Hemsworth head about how maybe they were taking things too far with the jokes.

It’s time to retire Thor. L&T should’ve been his last film but the way Taika Waiti botched it, Doomsday/SW should give him a proper sendoff.

To me, His comedy felt more balanced in Ragnarok. Like if you look at all that happens to him, without his comedic outlook that movie would have been pretty depressing. Where as in love and thunder, his comedy felt forced, cringey and annoying. And instead of complementing the story line it felt like it took away from it. He is one character that has just been a rollercoaster ride.

    6. We’re all just going to pretend that Ragnarok wasn’t by far the best Thor film and one of the best and well received Marvel films of all time?

Funny Thor can be fantastic and abandoning that for more of the Thor from the first two films is silly. They just need to do it in the proper moderation and not do whatever the hell love and thunder was.

Good, there were too many stupid one-liners in all Avengers movies. Take a page from Casino Royale and ratchet up the violence, and dourness without being too self important.

    8. I’ve always said that Kenneth Branagh’s version of Thor was the best one. It was the right mix of that fish out of water humour, and the epic gravitas that you would expect a Norse god to have.

There’s an interview where Hemsworth says his kids told him Love and Thunder didn’t work and he seemed a bit surprised. It’s good to learn from mistakes.

What an exciting December to come. Still long way away but looking forward!

I hated both Ragnarok and Love and Thunder, but Love and Thunder sucked even more.

    12. His silly Thor is literally the only reason I started watching marvel movies again

    13. I?? He didn’t become shit, the character he portrays was written with little seriousness and he followed the script.

They either needed to stick to Lady Thor or Gorr the God Butcher in Thor 4. Not both. And if it is Gorr, it needed to be much darker.

Love and thunder, the delusional Thor part where he was with the grinds of the galaxy was great. Literally everything in the movie was fantastic until that first goat screamed. It was all down downhill after that.
