Takaichi bestritt lange, viel über die Kirche zu wissen. Doch kürzlich enthüllten koreanische Staatsanwälte, dass die Vereinigungskirche im Jahr 2021, dem Jahr vor der Ermordung Abes, 290 LDP-Mitglieder finanziert hatte, und Takaichis Name tauchte in dem Dokument 32 Mal auf:

Pretty sure no one is wondering about this. It’s obvious she’s lying.
It still is not beyond irony that the LDP, which has usually a lot of beef over territorial issues with South Korea, is closely aligned with a cult from that country.
Due to loneliness and other societal issues, cults and sects often easily find victims in today’s Japan.
The K-Cult is not something that needs to be exported, Korea.
