This is outdated.
Poland switched to MSBS GROT a while ago. Beryl is no longer the official rifle of our military. Its obviously still being used but GROT is the new official rifle.
It also comes down to military units as some use different weapons than others.

Mad respect to greece for still using a rifle cartridge over a carbine round

The fact that Ukraine is still using a Soviet rifle is an embarrassment to all of Europe.

This is outdated. The UK uses the L85A3, Germany uses the HK416 (Boo), Russia officially uses the AK-12 (Or at least planned too before they realised they couldn’t afford Ratnik), and there are probably others I don’t know off the top of my head.

Outdated. In Hungary we use the CZ Bren 2.

It is so sad that these weapons are made to kill other people.

In Portugal 🇵🇹 the Army uses the SCAR, but Air Force and Navy still use the HK G3 hand cannon. Most were made here and used in our colonia wars.

Very outdated. Hungary started replacing AKs with CZ BREN 2 guns back in 2015.

This is outdated, Italy uses ARX-160

Why aren’t they all using the same assault rifles? Might come in handy when Europe or NATO goes to war?

Doesn’t include Turkiye even though they are in NATO and have a more significant military than most European countries?

Well Iceland doesn’t have an army but I belive the coast guard and police has G36 as their main rifle.

I’m 🇬🇧& part Ukrainian with family there, one cousin there who joined the AFU as a volunteer told me he’d got a new gf, AK. He cuddled up with her every night, always by his side. I thought it was a bit odd because he was in barracks training. He thought it was hilarious that I fell for it as did many in his platoon training 🙄oh well, doing what they do they needed the laugh 😂 Being a 🇬🇧the only time I see them in real life is armed police, which are rare or at airports. The closest I’ve ever been to guns was in 🇺🇸at my ex in laws when the local police came because their peacocks had been eaten by something. Another was an ex sister in law emptying her handbag to find her phone, like we do, she had to take stuff out to find it. She plonked it on the table like I’d put down a packet of tissues & a pen! A 5 year old (at the time) in my family asked me if guns were real or just pretend in movies & on tv!
When I told my ex in laws that they were gobsmacked, if she was in the us she’d be doing practice for what to do if a nut case comes sh**ting in the school!

Ak 5c is the most common but Sweden are switching to the Ak 24 based on the SAKO ARG based on the AR10/AR15 designs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatkarbin_24
Hungary is shifting towards the cz bren, no?
Old. Estonia uses R-20 Rahe’s.
