I will be honest there are way better places on that list to do an exchange program

Outside of Mexico I think anything else is better but I’m biased 🙂

To be honest, education level is respectable for Belgian Universities.
The food is delicious as well.
People are generally friendly and safe to be around.
The weather sucks tho.

Literally every country on that list is more worth going to for an exchange program imo
This country is boring as hell and there’s nothing to see here, great place for food and beer but it’s a cultural nothingburger

Sorry mate, I wouldn’t go to Belgium/Finland or Germany, any other country on that list is definitely worth it, good luck! It also depends where you’re from.

Where are you from? If you’re from Europe, I’d go for Japan, Thailand or Mexico to have a once in a lifetime experience. Cause traveling around in Europe, is just to easy, you can always do it another time.
If you’re from the US, and want to go to Europe, I rather go to Spain, Italy.
Depends what season too. Winters in Belgium can be quite depressing, especially if you don’t have a friend group already, then Mexico/Thailand seems like a way better option.
