Who benefits from P25?
It was factually true that it was not a campaign document and that it was not written by Trump though. To have said that it was 100% the case that Trump was going to implement P2025 would have been speculative and not exactly objective reporting. The bigger problems are that voters don’t care that we now know Trump lied that he had no interest in P2025 and that voters still are struggling to care that nearly half of P2025 has been implemented.

I think a lot of people who work in news media think this is just a phase that we’re going to get through and things are going to return to normal. So they’re just keeping their heads down and keeping quiet and not rocking the boat.

Read the article: so fact checks from CNN and WaPo that said Project 2025 wasn’t an official campaign document, which was true, was the wrong thing to do? IDK, man. News outlets don’t get to say what feels true or not. They also did lots of analysis reporting on what 2025 was, what was in it, what factual ties there were between the campaign…

People told me all through 24 that i was overreacting.
Our media sanewashed his dementia-driven amphetamine rants and held Biden/Harris to standards they’d never use on Trump. They wanted the ratings of Trump back.

It’s eternally frustrating how the media and so many regular people said, „That’ll never happen,“ as it was happening in front of their faces, while they sat on centuries of history books detailing the exact human fallacies that got us here in the first place.
Humanity will never cease to amaze me at its ability to fail open book tests, both of which we wrote ourselves.
The editorial and ownership of the news put their thumbs on the scales and each side of the left decided to act like useful idiots in their own way in response.
I will never shut up about how Russell Vought confirmed in a hidden camera interview *before the election* how Trump was on board with P2025 but was just “playing politics,” how Heritage Foundation goons were the ones actually hard at work drafting all the heinous executive orders that Trump loves to hold up to the camera, and how these plans would not be made public but kept “very close hold” —and Trump’s campaign was able to just deny it, say Trump does all his own work and wasn’t associated with P2025 and move on without any further pressure from the media.

The big media companies have always been in on the con with Trump. They have sane washed him and downplayed everything he was about. Now, they are all owned by right wing billionaires fully out for their own interests in seeing Project 2025 come to fruition.

we already know he is bad. Nothing new is being learned but the haters gonna drive that ad revenue so keep clicking folks. Your need to have to constantly be a Doomer and then tell the world how great you are because you don’t like Trump is what makes him powerful.
Media has been complicit in the whole thing, because it makes a great 24/7 news cycle. They don’t care about anything except keeping eyes on the advertisements.

I remember Bill Maher both-sidesing the election by saying how disingenuous it was for the Harris campaign and Dems to tie P25 to Trump after he said he never read it. Never mind that his former aid led the project and told us all that Trump knew about it and endorsed it. [shrug]
