Be aware that this is part of their scheme to take the vote away from individual citizens and give it to state lawmakers as outlined in Project 2025. No representation without taxation. They plan to pack our state legislatures with their recruits.

      How? At the grocery store I don’t get asked if I would like to pay sales taxes. My boss does not ask me if I want taxes Federal/State/Local taxes withheld. How is she going to stop paying taxes?

      Then she should be required to live in a crappy place. Taxes are the price we pay to live in the kind of society we want. It’s like going to the Society Store. Want to live in a safe, healthy, clean, well educated, well connected, well infrastructured society? Pick the place, pay the “vig.” Want some kind of break or discount, fine. Pay your share, find your discount (tax break) but pay your share. You’re not special, you shop at the same store as the rest of us.

      It will cost $X and your share, paid in taxes, is $Y.

      Don’t want to pay taxes (or want to low taxes that don’t cover the costs of services)?…you get to live in a place without those features/services. Got “your own,” trust fund money? Don’t need a job but have a tax shelter? Nice. Now, Pay your share. It’s a society not a gated community, pay your share.
      Simple.
