This is a very silly theory. Specifically: The idea that „rich“ people are behind racism and xenophobia to help make themselves richer, and without them we’d all be a racially harmonious melting pot.
In fact, „rich“ people are behind the silly idea of a racially harmonious melting pot. Putting aside whether homogeneity is bad or multiracial cosmopolitans are good, the facts clearly show that the „rich“ have been denigrating the former (for whites) and encouraging the latter for a very long time.. So, on that basis alone, this is a very naive graphic that displays a complete lack of discernment about the world we actually live in.
What the cartoon is really describing is what is traditionally in political science known as „Reactionary“ politics, a la Trump. It’s called that because it’s a Reaction to progressivism.
So you’re basically missing several steps. Step 1 is a natural state of nature. Step 2 is an effort to reorder society. Step 3 is a reaction to the reordering.
