i could see the following play out: make it harder for property speculators to sponsor business visa(already happened), those people lose status, new laws get passed outlawing non-residents from owning property, assets get seized or forcibly sold at disadvantageous prices retroactively from non-resident owners, many normal foreigners get fucked over by a move designed to fuck over speculators.
