Deutschlands Merz fordert Europa auf, sich durchzusetzen, um Frieden und Wohlstand zu sichern

Europe standing up sounds great just hope we don’t trip over our own bureaucracy on the way to peace and prosperity.

Not just when it comes to defending itself, but also when it comes to protecting its global interests. It’s incredible how Europe has gone from a continent of global explorers and conquerors to a geopolitical dwarf afraid to defend its interests abroad. The EU, Canada, Australia, Japan, Mexico (if they’re willing and able to withstand US pressure), and other countries could form a bloc capable of defending their own interests and shaping a more balanced global order. Europe has everything it needs to become a serious global player, instead of forever remaining a geopolitical chessboard for the US, Russia, and China.
