    1. >The project lies within the congressional district of Republican U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert, a longtime ardent Trump supporter who sponsored the House version of the legislation.

Ah, that explains it. Getting back at Boebert for voting for the Epstein files release.

    2. Petty little coward I think is the right term. But that is an insult to petty cowards

The little toddler is big mad at Colorado. Felon Tina Peters will stay in jail, and Barbie voted for Epstein Files release. Double down Colorado!

A unanimously passed, bipartisan bill that funds a drinking water project for rural red communities

I’d say this belongs in r/leopardsatemyface but the leopards sound like they’re in need of clean drinking water?

Typical childish Trump. His personal infantile animosity trumps the good of the people. Someone give him a pacifier and change his diaper please.

IDK if he’s trying to save the environment or just playing 4D chess, but blocking a water pipeline? Def didn’t see that coming from him. 🤔

Nobody gave him his cut, right?

It’s going to be a hellscape of his creation and you have to pay to not be a part of it.

    8. Good for him even though his motives are pure idiocy.

Maybe people shouldn’t live where the water is undrinkable or can’t be treated to make it drinkable. Or where water is too scarce for the population living there. I’m glad this stupid water grab for the front range is getting torpedoed. I hope it sticks and the water goes to where its supposes to.

Live within our means or something like that.

    9. Another reason for the Broncos to not visit the White House after they win the Super Bowl.

Someone give from Colorado give this toddler a shiny medal so he’ll undo his veto.

    11. 60 years, holy moly.  I’ve read about bureaucracy but this has to be an attempt at a record.

    12. Don’t overlook the second one that he vetoed here too for a whopping $14 mil because the tribe isn’t fully in support of his ICE nonsense.

    13. So how do the rural people of Colorado feel about a pedo stealing their fresh water lines?

Build it anyway, he probably doesn’t even know he „signed“ this

„Trump vetoes drinking water in Colorado, how this is bad for Biden“ tomorrow WAPO and NYT headlines

    16. This should be an impeachable action. He admits that it’s solely to punish the state because they have Democrat politicians who refuse to kowtow to him.

Remember when our idea of what a corrupt president would look like in modern times was the Underwoods in House of Cards?

    18. Come on guys, you know how to get a yes…it’s called a bribe….I mean buy Trump coin. We know how this works.

Hurts one of the reddest parts of the state too…parts of the state that went 75% for him in the last election.

Maybe this will wake some of them up.

Well, they do a veto override? Or will Republicans in the house and Senate be too scared to defy Trump even after they unanimously vote voted for it?

    21. Blame the next wildfire on him…because all he had to do is just turn the handle

    22. With approval ratings not seen since Bush-Cheney term two, overriding this veto should be an easy call.

    23. LadyLovesRoses on

He persists in making the wrong choice about everything. Every. Damn. Time. He is needlessly cruel and vindictive.

    24. PinkFloxMoon on

It’s governance by grievance and it sucks. Trump is a vengeful and hateful man who enjoys doling out punishment. On the other hand, if you butter him up enough you can get him to do your bidding.

    25. Wow, so Congress actually managed to pass something, getting around the hyperpolarized Senate and it’s ridiculous filibuster rule, and he has to veto it. Lovely.

Seriously, the filibuster needs to either be (a) eliminated entirely or (b) revert back to it’s original form where you could only filibuster as long as you were physically standing at the podium in the Senate and talking.

Wait…. Is this the same asshole who released more than 2 billion gallons of water stored for California farmers in the Sierra Nevada foothills in to the ocean?

      Does this make a pattern?
