TL;DR Ich habe die 5.000 größten bekannten Primzahlen aneinandergereiht, gemessen, um wie viele Ziffern jede einzelne im Vergleich zur nächstkleineren Primzahl springt, und diesen Sprung gegen den Rang aufgetragen, wobei ich jeden Punkt nach dem Zeitpunkt seiner Entdeckung eingefärbt habe, um zu zeigen, wie Ausbrüche und Pausen bei der Primzahljagd das Bild prägen.

    1. I took the [5,000 largest known primes](https://t5k.org/primes/download.php) including their decimal digit counts. For each prime, I calculated the gap in digit count to the next lower-ranked prime. I visualised this as a scatter plot with rank on a linear x-axis and digit gap on a logarithmic y-axis. Each point is colour-coded by month of discovery using a heatmap scale, where warmer colours indicate more recent discoveries.

      The data was stored and queried from PostgreSQL, processed directly in Grafana, and visualised using the Business Charts panel with Apache ECharts. Custom JavaScript was used within Grafana to compute the colour mapping and handle outliers in discovery dates so that temporal structure is visible without distortion from early discoveries.

      Also, since this is just known primes, it’s likely that the gaps between these numbers and the next closest prime are much smaller
