I read the title and thought „That’s still pretty cold.“

Then I looked again and noticed the missing negative symbol.

For Island that is pretty high….. for Summer. That this happens in winter does not bode well.

It rained on Christmas a couple years ago at my parents‘ house in Fairbanks, AK. Yeah.

  5. So. Next tropical destination to pass harsh Spanish winters – Iceland? World’s flipping around.

  6. I went to Iceland in April for a week this year and while it seemed to be a bit of an anomaly it was warmer in Iceland than it was in Boston

  7. It was almost 80 degrees in Dallas for Christmas. We breaking records down here too

Iceland averages -3 to +3 at Christmas (happy or have someone from there correct me but this is from NOAA). Clearly global warming is a thing despite what ppl say.

Greenland on the other hand (which remember Erik the Red kinda swapped the names of to attract settlers) usually very much below 0.

Not to dispel global warming I see it every year in Canada here. Just a reminder Iceland isn’t the icy one.

Weather is so fucked, we had a string of -40 days in central Alberta Canada, even nearly got to -50 one day. This was when it was summer weather in iceland. Sounds totally normal.

  10. That’s insane. I was there during the summer just a few years ago and we only had sunny weather but never even crossed 18°C.
