Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has been accused of inventing a fake emergency to “justify” demolishing a cluster of highly secure buildings that have been designated as a National Historic Landmark.
The buildings are part of a fortified 176-acre complex that formerly housed a hospital created by Congress in 1855 to provide mental health care for the Army, Navy, and District of Columbia.
Over the past 15 years, the Department of Homeland Security has been working with the General Services Administration to transform the site, called St. Elizabeths Campus West, into DHS’s new headquarters.
Suddenly, just two days before Christmas, the GSA notified the city of Washington, D.C., that it was planning an emergency demolition of 17 historic buildings because they “constitute a present risk to life and property,” The Washington Post reported.

There needs to be some method for countering and combating this “move faster than the courts” mentality and process that the administration uses to do whatever it wants.

They say this abandoned campus of historic buildings poses a threat to people because in theory an active shooter could hold up in the abandoned buildings.
Who would they shoot at that is walking around the abandoned campus? What threat could this pose? They are just using it as an excuse to destroy historical buildings so they can either reuse or sell the 176-acres of land.

The contractors doing these demolitions need to be held personally liable for the damage they are doing. This bullshit where everybody just says they were following orders has to stop. It’s time to start making public arrests of these fuckers if the police are unable or unwilling to do their job because of their complicity with the MAGA rats. Slash the contractor’s truck tires, break their windows, pour sugar in their gas tanks and sand in their valve covers. Turn the tables on these vandals who are smashing out public property. Stop trying to make her synonymous with a children’s toy or a feminist icon (I’m not actually sure if Barbie is a feminist icon because I’m a guy and it’s not really my wheelhouse so someone can correct me on that part. I think I saw it in a documentary once). Stop giving these degenerates nicknames and use their full names on every report so history remembers who they were.
