If all latin Americans are grouped together, they make up by far the largest immigrant group in Spain.

    2. If you count local migration ( from galicia to madrid for instance ). Madrid will be 40% easily

These types of maps need to define immigrant, as I’ve seen so many variations across posts on this sub. Are you only counting first-gen, first- and second-gen, or all people with a migrant background regardless of generation?

People from Spanish ex colonies like latinoamerica speak the same language, listen to the same music, worship the same religion and the government doesn’t have to invest on them much because they integrate perfectly.
Spain has a gold mine with immigration. People from Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba and the Philippines are fully integrated in Spanish society and work hard. The biggest problem for Spain is that the US attracts them more.

    5. Can someone explain why we use migrant instead of immigrant now to describe well….immigrants?
