      Can’t wait until they hold up a hand drawn picture of the moon with a reactor on it and say see we did it. I prefer that outcome to Chernobyl Two: space boogaloo

      USA is also doing this, and by 2030. These people are seriously out of control. Why bring nuclear to the moon ? Where’s the waste going to go ? Will we see the moon turn a nice shade of green now ? Or are they just going to fire it off into space and use it as their personal garbage can ?

      I’m amazed they aren’t just firing rockets filled with coal at the moon so they can just start a coal plant there.

      I have different question (probably dumb). The concept of yeeting powerplants (not necessarily nuclear ones) out of the earth is not necessarily dumb. But how we can transfer that power from the moon to the earth in reliable way. Right now we have problems, whenever weather gets mad and want us dead, yet here we are thinking about transferring power from the moon.
