This is not a penalty. Its a business proposal.
50,000₩ per customer in discounts/coupons but really only
5,000₩ for coupang users
5,000₩ for coupang eats
20,000₩ for coupang travel
20,000₩ for some coupang Luxury thing
That may have been accepted if they lead with that immediately and apologized but people are too mad at them now.
Coupang would be wise to increase the compensation amount significantly.
They are handing out coupons. Honestly I am insulted Coupang owner and his lackies think that will settle the issue but not suprised because its well known they detest Koreans.
