The way youtubers are controlled and owned is slightly different to mainstream media but the principle is the same. Its actually a bit easier for youtubers to be controlled since they are dependent on the algorithm, and if a YouTuber makes content the powers that be don’t want people to know (like content exposing elite pedophile rings and so on), the people in control of youtube can just shadowban that creator and limit the amount of people who can see their content. They don’t even have to remove their channel (even though they do sometimes), shadowbanning is just as effective.

He’s not dependant on the algorithm, he’s dependant on us. And we’re the ones who’re stuck in a bubble.

      – Attention span, both in quality and quantity changed drastically in the last few years.

      – Suggestions ain’t shit. Not only are they always related, they often repeat and it doesn’t matter if you’ve watched it before or not.

I know I’m not crazy in feeling the way I do. It’s like you’re trying to wiggle to maintain a bit of freedom but constantly feel it attacked. It is clearly meant to keep you stuck in your bubble. Not even Music escaped this.
