The US-Ukraine meeting, aimed at[ ending four years of war](https://inews.co.uk/news/point-finally-seal-ukraine-russia-peace-plan-4136163?srsltid=AfmBOoo7blINc7IkJoCTZMXXyK3kD0klNEOAda1I2uXnpKbyG3IpwKKJ&ico=in-line_link), is due to take place at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida on Sunday.

The pair are expected to discuss the new 20-point peace plan, which is an updated version of an earlier 28-point proposal drafted by [US special envoy Steve Witkoff](https://inews.co.uk/news/world/trump-peace-envoy-britain-europe-deal-russia-4079152?srsltid=AfmBOopsCuv2qgUV2dXLK4pb_AH7Lc-yOl4KgU2VgUqC1V1Kcvybb8RS&ico=in-line_link), which is seen as being weighted towards Russia. Moscow is yet to comment on the updated plan.

It comes after intense Russian bombing of Kyiv over the weekend, which Zelensky says shows that Moscow “doesn’t want peace”.
