Japan should just run dry of foreign investments. It doesn’t deserve it.

Except for a huge market for tourism and a decreasing spending power of residents, there’s really nothing that can encourage foreign businesses to setup business or invest in Japan.

Cheap yen is ofc a major factor.

But putting restrictions on anything „foreign“ will surely harm Japan in the long run.

The current administration is signaling that they don’t want anything „Foreign“. No foreigners, no foreign tourists, no foreign residents, just slave labours taking over low-paying jobs at zombie companies that would have collapsed long ago.

Japan is going in the direction of Trump although slowly.

Thank you Japan for all your „kindness“.

Sometimes I wonder why people overrate Japan as some kind of a „heaven“ when its clearly not. Its a dying nation with a losing hope.

Foreigners will only benefit Japan in the long run, there’s no reason why you would be so xenophobic.

Watching a few TikTok videos about „how immigrants are ruining Europe“ isn’t a good way to conduct national policies.

  2. There was a time when the shogunate refused to trade and shut everyone foreign out, and look what happened.
