Why does it feel more like they’re putting up walls not to keep people out, but to keep people from leaving? What’s the long term plan? Who is even visiting the states anymore? Just look up what isn’t going on in Las Vegas over the past so many years.

Militarizing domestic policy issues is a risky move, regardless of who’s in charge. It may play well politically, but it raises serious questions about federal authority, civil liberties, and long-term precedent. Those concerns don’t disappear just because border security is a real issue.
