It’s early, just wait. This is like taking one cookie out of the oven early and saying all the others still baking will not be cooked as well. Give it time. 2-3 more years will be crazy

It’s also not getting better and other than grifting at all levels there’s little value to it being presented to us : the consumer

I’ve been preparing since at least two years for new reshoots of old movies *with the original casts*. It will happen, eventually; it’s a cash cow the big studios can’t ignore. Flesh and blood actors will initially oppose that of course, none of them wanting to appear the 1st one to cave in to AI for money (imagine renting their AI a*vatar* to make 15 movies at the cost of 1), but with public acceptance growing in newer generations and long deceased actors families and estates not giving a damn, it will just happen.
I’m neither advocating nor condemning it; it’s just a huge paradigm shift like the industrial revolution that is happening so fast that many of us will have memory of the very different life before, during and after that.
Other than the already wealthy, has ANYONE really benefitted from AI?
Couldn’t you replace Holywood with almost any industry and the headline still be accurate?
AI is going to keep coming until it takes over the world or until the workers of the world realize that they don’t need super wealthy people anymore.
Not defending AI but movies take time to make and release.
We won’t see how good or bad AI for movies is till like late 2026 or 2027

From a strategy standpoint point, shouldn’t „anti AI“ people be hyping up AI capabilities and threats to scare people into pressuring politicians to over regulate???

Early adaption is always terrible. I remember the cgi in some movies….
It will get there.
Can’t wait till regular people can start making good looking movies.
