These are „just“ the outright killings. There are a lot more crimes and additional societal stress caused by people woefully unfit for life in a society. And of course the official numbers are tweaked.
A corrupt, heartless society breeds sociopaths.
Hundreds of thousands of homicidal criminals with PTSD returning home to a nation that holds them in contempt and offers them nothing, no support…it is going to get much much worse.
