Tyler Perry is an asshole. I have a friend who works for SAG in their legal department. Tyler is known to be an asshole and very difficult to work with. He also does everything he can to escape paying residuals to actors in his movies. He is also known to have complaints about labor laws, improper compensation, and harassment. The guy has a whole legal team devoted to screwing as many people over, and getting away with as much as he can.
