Terminator without Arnold just feels weird
Man this franchise had so much potential.
I would love a smaller scale terminator that would be maybe a little more suspense/horror focused. But that’s just me.

I won’t be back.
They should just ignore everything after T2 and make T3 with Cameron directing. Set in present day.
There should be a Terminator movie about a killer robot who goes back in time to prevent the sequels to Terminator 2.
But he said he’d be back.
Avatar really soured me to his ideas of growing ip above anything else. His film making was great in the 80-90s but adapting to modern times after such a long time away was not good to him.
The last one sucked
I’m okay with that but they need a new face to carry that franchise like he did. They can’t launch it without someone who can fill those shoes.
The franchise ended at Terminator 2. If you fight real hard I’ll acknowledge The Sarah Conner Chronicles.
Jack Black as the new Terminator.
He says he will work on it after he finishes avatar. I want to see what they do because to be honest after salvation they have tried a couple of times to reboot the franchise and failed miserably even dark fate that I had high hopes failed.

T3 is an okayish movie on its own right
I think they need to strip it down and bring back the mystery of it all. What I mean is, less about being badass humans with big guns, and more about the technology. What if Skynet is more about AI and technological and psychological takeover? The machines giving everyone the easy answers and taking over the controls for the power plants, water treatment plants, the military defense systems….the terror in that and twisting things around so it’s the humans who end up destroying themselves…
Would like to see one that follows shortly on from T3 timeline, with a splash of Animatrix ‘The Second Renaissance’ and The Thing.
Im okay with them potentially moving the story anywhere else.
They should have one where Skynet kills everyone by taking their job.
