Meine Stadt Sudbury ist geografisch ziemlich groß (3.201 km²).2 oder 1.236 Quadratmeilen). Wir haben auch jede Menge Fast-Food-Restaurants in und um die Stadt. Wenn man bedenkt, dass über 90 % unserer Bevölkerung auch in Sudbury arbeiten (ein sehr hoher Prozentsatz für Ontario), wäre es sinnvoll, Fast-Food-Standorte strategisch in allen Ecken der Region zu platzieren.

-Es gibt zwei Einheimische auf der Liste, Topper’s Pizza auf Platz 3 mit 8 Standorten und Great Lakes Pizza auf Platz 7 mit 3 Standorten. Es gibt 5 Pizzerien auf dieser Liste, Sudbury hat im Allgemeinen eine Menge Pizzerien.
-Die Kette, die im letzten Jahrzehnt oder so den größten zahlenmäßigen Wandel erlebte, war Starbucks mit vier geschlossenen Standorten (drei in anderen Gebäuden und einem eigenständigen Standort) und drei offenen (alle eigenständigen Standorten).
-Dass Tim Horton 31 Standorte hat, ist keine Überraschung. Wir haben ungefähr die gleiche Anzahl an Standorten wie Saskatoon (35). Saskatoon hat eine viel höhere Bevölkerungszahl als Sudbury, ist aber geografisch weniger als ein Zehntel groß. Pro Kopf kommt in Sudbury etwa 6.100 Einwohner auf einen Standort von Tim Horton.

Ontarians outside Toronto take their Tim Hortons seriously.
I’m back home for Christmas, in an area with a Tim Hortons monopoly. Aside from an out of the way McDonald’s, there is literally nowhere else to go out for a coffee close by. And the locals are perfectly happy with it.

It’s funny to me that social media is filled with residents of small Ontario towns raging against immigrants working at Tim Hortons, but at the same time they’re obviously keeping them in business.

When we visit our aunt in Canada, there are five Tim Hortons‘ franchises within a mile of her house. Which is wild, but I’m not complaining because I love Tims. I loved stopping by service stations on the way for a quality cup.

Haven’t had toppers pizza since I lived in Ontario like 20 years ago, I remember liking it and its dipping sauce.
I thought Pizza Pizza was Little Caesars in Canada until I saw Little Caesars on here as well.
Surprised with pita pit that high. I haven’t seen one of those in at least a decade. I live in America.
We also have to take into account not all Tim Horton’s are full sized restaurants. Lots of smaller kiosks sized ones at hospitals, gas stations, public institutions that operate during business hours.
