Anyone else followed the rise of all this double-speak, know-nothing deflection talk over the years with horror? Politicians always had a reputation for sometimes doing this. But ever since maybe…Gingrich, it feels like there’s been an explosion. Hopefully Johnson is the final form of this cancer, because I don’t want to imagine how it would escalate from him.
And it’s infected our Dem party too. Again, the politicians of yesteryear weren’t perfect. But listen to Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer. They don’t say *anything*.
