Feels ironic banning a group fighting hate speech kinda proves why their work is needed in the first place.

Lol, while gradually curtailing freedom of press in Germany. Good job CDU monkeys.

The sad thing is even after all the shit-show, Europe will coddle up to USA the moment they get any opportunity. Nothing will change.

German speech laws are a bit odd though. Insulting politicians can get you three years in prison.

      “Victims of online hate speech”

Isn’t that pretty much everyone who’s ever used the internet?

    6. My GF works for some people aimed by this ban. I guess that means that she’ll be refused at the border if we ever try to visit the US…

    7. So if the US is banning those groups, perhaps Europe should ban the Heritage Foundation?

Heritage Foundation = state sponsored terrorism

Like Russia the USA is now engaging in a hybrid war on Germany.

    9. I wonder if people who believe that insults are verbal attacks should be prosecuted also believe that that logic applies to insults to Trump.

So the people who for decades tried to police thoughts and censor opinions are now throwing a fit when they are treated in the same manner?

    12. >victims of hate speech

Not that I trust google search nowadays, but the top, first page result is:

      >How can hate speech affect the victim?

      >The most prevalent emotional effects of hate crime reported were **anger, annoyance, shock, fear and loss of confidence**.

..and there are non-profit groups supporting this? Maybe we should call the ambulance whenever we bump our toes into something too, no?

      >non-profit group supporting victims of hate speech

They are in favor of chat control and opposed to free speech, making them antidemocratic shit stains.

I’m General, my opinion is that Europe should withdraw from the American culture wars and not engage in them. By doing so Europe is importing an American problem in its political system into Europe, which has plenty of problems of its own that need to be resolved in a European and not an American way.
